For many years, I have been helping people around to build D-I-Y
computers in a freelance basis. They were new PC users, someone who do
not know PC building and even IT gurus who do not have much spare times
to build their own PCs. Now, I am hoping to expand my network to the
public. PC users – whether at homes, in schools or in the offices - and
system integrators are all welcomed.
*Configuration:* AMD Athlon-64 3000+, 512MB DDR400-SDRAM, nVidia GeForce
6100 graphic, integrated sound, integrated LAN, 80GB S-ATA HDD, 52x32x52
CD-RW, PS/2 keyboard and scroll mouse. Price: S$680/set (includes S$30
part acquisition and assembly charges)
*Microsoft Windows XP Home – S$149
Microsoft Windows XP Professional – S$249
Genius stereo multimedia speakers – S$12
Viewsonic 17” VA702 LCD display monitor – S$389
CMV 17” 712A LCD display monitor (with speakers) – S$376
Specifications and prices are subjected to change. All prices are 5%GST
inclusive, otherwise stated. All invoices, receipts and warranties will
be given to the customer for retention for future warranty claims and as
proof of new purchase. Rebates will be returned to the customers.
why is there a 5% GST? If I am not mistaken, 5% should be impose to
company who has net revenue of 1mil anually!

If your company is not GST registered, you cannot charge your customers
GST. I know. I buy from IT companies and they charge me 5% but I can't
charge my customers 5%. I pass them the receipts, add my transport and
service charges.

For the uninitiated:
For companies having revenue of $1m or more it is mandatory to be GST
registered so you can collect GST on the govt's behalf. You have to pay the
govt this money after you file your GST returns!
For co. with less than $1m you can still elect to be GST registered and do
the same ie. collect on the govt's behalf. Remember you have to pay the govt
these monies and it is illegal to collect if you are not GST registered! The
added advantage of being GST registered is that you can get back GST from
the govt if you export your purchases(GST zero rated) or the purchases
directly go into the running of your going concern.

If you are not GST registered do NOT use the term GST. Just embed your cost
into the product/service you are selling or mark up your prices accordingly,
period.
