If you're buying a Philips LCD TV,check carefully

Its HDMI port cannot work with HD Box from Starhub.
If you turn on the HD Dolby Sound system option,
you hear nothing but sparkling noises. I called up
Philips tehnical service 2 years ago, they deny it is
their Philips TV problem despite the fact their
HDMI port has incompability problem.

Recently, my Philips LCD TV also cannot work
with Samsung BluRay player using HDMI port as well.
You will get flickering lines on the pictures. The same
Bluray player work fine with many other TVs.

be it JVC, Toshiba, LG or Samsung TV except my Philips LCD TV!!
